English
If you dance Bachata, you’ve probably heard “frame” and “connection”—but what do they actually mean?
In short: frame is the shape between two bodies (elbows with shape, chests aligned, weight grounded); connection is how intention travels through that shape so you move to the same music. When frame collapses and connection breaks, it feels like two solos instead of one dance.
Frame isn’t locking your partner—it’s a clear, elastic line. Connection lives in the torso, not a death-grip in the hands. Soft tone, keep breathing, and turns and body movement stay clean.
